Emma is Eleven Months!
How can you be eleven months already? Only one month away from your first birthday?! It doesn’t seem possible.
You have so much personality! You LOVE sneaking past the gate, up the stairs. You’ve made it to the top quite a few times. When you’re quiet, I know you’re up to something mischievous like getting into cabinets, digging in the trash can, or splashing in the toilet… We have yet to really baby proof anything except the chemical/cleaning cabinet.
You stand alone well without assistance. You’ve even taken 6-8 steps, but you resort to crawling most of the time because it’s faster! You’re still napping in our room in the pack ‘n play, but sleeping well with Lily in your “night-night room” as sissy likes to call it.
You are semi-weaned, but basically did it yourself. You only nurse at night and before nap times for about 2 minutes. You take bottles well though. Formula is expensive! We are excited for whole milk very soon!
You got your first bottom tooth that just barely cut through in the last couple of days. I think the other isn’t far behind!
You like to scream and clap. You love music and dancing. You enjoy eating snacks and are starting to show preference for certain foods, though you still eat most without complaining!
You really like playing with your sister in the playroom now. Your limit is about 20 minutes, but it’s a start! We love you so much and love watching you blossom and develop. We pray that you will learn to love Jesus with all of your heart, soul and mind!
