September 2020

I supposedly committed to documenting our adventures, but here it is November and I'm just getting to September... We did a lot in September. It was a good month! It was a great mix of slowing down and enjoying each other, starting new rhythms and routines for school, hanging out with our bubble of friends, and making it through another lockdown here on Oahu.

Since buying a house in our neighborhood, the Byrds take a walk and pretty much come play in our cul-de-sac every afternoon! Everyone loves baby Daisy :)

This was one of our first days of school together with the Byrds doing Abeka Academy

On Tuesdays, we started doing a preschool coop at my house with the Byrds and Rodeffers

I feel like we had lots of these kinds of skies.

And many early morning baths.

We started borrowing books from the library regularly and Lily's reading has taken off! I love the Library Take Out service they offer because of COVID.

For the first few days in September, all the kids did Miss Howe's Bible class together.

I let the girls do my hair, and it was very painful!

One of the first harvests of my little garden!

Cary started potty-training in September.

We added Kellan to our Preschool Coop!

Cary helping mama make lunch.

Like sisters.

The girls wanted to have an art sale on the corner. Ms. Sunshine loved it!

They sold cookies and art.

Sweet snuggles with my girls.

Emma sometimes just needs a rest.

Butter lettuce, sweet sunray peppers, sweet Kaala bell peppers and golden cherry tomatoes for a homegrown salad!

We started doing neighborhood walks again when the beaches and parks closed down for two weeks.

One of Daisy's sweet visits to Aunties :)

Another day another family walk.

Breaking the law for my birthday celebration. So many children :)

Sweet friends on my Bday!

The girls (and Mike) made a surprise birthday celebration for me...

Another horsey ride on a fire hydrant.

Trying our hand at Origami :)

Enjoying the sunset from our backyard.

A solo hike for mommy up Makakilo mountain.

My little Cubbie Bear (she's wearing Lily's old uniform because she's not technically old enough to be in club yet).

Watch Ya Mouth! Girls' dinner and game night at Jennifer's.

Savannah came over for her first play date after church!

A Wolfe girls' field trip to Waihiawa Botanical Gardens!

The first day it really felt like Fall in Hawaii.
