This year has completely flown by. How is Christmas over already? I wanted to add a few pictures from November so I wouldn't forget how sad, yet fun and full it was. November, particularly, was marked by our trip to the mainland for my daddy's service. If I honest with myself, it still doesn't really feel real. It hasn't even been three months yet, and I may still be in denial that he won't be there to greet me with a cold bottle of water the next time I step off the plane.
It was a whirlwind of a trip; it had a dual purpose really. Not only were we there to comfort my mom and mourn as a family, but to help her organize and clean some of the larger items out of the shed, basement and yard.

Mom and her friends at the office made these sweet memory cards up. At first, I thought it was unnecessary, but I'm glad she decided to go ahead and do it. |
Lily and Kayden took their jobs of passing them out very seriously. They greeted nearly everyone who came to the service with a smile :) |
Two of my closest friends from college were able to come and support me and my family. I was really grateful to have them there. There were several others from high school and youth group too who I didn't get a picture with. Love each of you ladies! |
At the reception afterward, Lily and Mema (pretty in pink) posed for a quick pic. |
Most of the second cousins had fun together and made up games to keep themselves occupied after the service. |
Mema with four out of five of her granddaughters. Love you ladies! |

Me, Cary and the bestie. Closest family friend EVER. Love you, Ash. |

Sesame Street World really was our jam. |

On our way back to Hawaii we made a weekend pit stop in Indiana to visit the other half of the Wolfepack! |
