November 2019 Adventure Roundup

This year has completely flown by. How is Christmas over already? I wanted to add a few pictures from November so I wouldn't forget how sad, yet fun and full it was. November, particularly, was marked by our trip to the mainland for my daddy's service. If I honest with myself, it still doesn't really feel real. It hasn't even been three months yet, and I may still be in denial that he won't be there to greet me with a cold bottle of water the next time I step off the plane.

It was a whirlwind of a trip; it had a dual purpose really.  Not only were we there to comfort my mom and mourn as a family, but to help her organize and clean some of the larger items out of the shed, basement and yard.

Mom and her friends at the office made these sweet memory cards up. At first, I thought it was unnecessary, but I'm glad she decided to go ahead and do it.

Lily and Kayden took their jobs of passing them out very seriously.  They greeted nearly everyone who came to the service with a smile :)

Two of my closest friends from college were able to come and support me and my family.  I was really grateful to have them there.  There were several others from high school and youth group too who I didn't get a picture with. Love each of you ladies!

At the reception afterward, Lily and Mema (pretty in pink) posed for a quick pic.

Most of the second cousins had fun together and made up games to keep themselves occupied after the service.

Mema with four out of five of her granddaughters.  Love you ladies!

Me, Cary and the bestie. Closest family friend EVER. Love you, Ash.

Kids played while we worked.

Mike sorted all my dad's random fence materials that were scattered around the yard.

Snuggle time with Gramma.

A slightly scary bonfire to burn all the unwanted wood scraps and cardboard.
Mike and I were able to sneak away for an afternoon out on Silver River. It was really lovely.

Sweet girls in their rompers from Leigh.

Grandma treated us to a trip to Sea World before we left Florida. Lily was the only one brave enough to get a picture with The Count.

Sesame Street World really was our jam.

On our way back to Hawaii we made a weekend pit stop in Indiana to visit the other half of the Wolfepack!
The weather was a bit chillier that the girls were used to.

Suzu styled me up :)

The girls were anxious to get outside in the cold air!

Story time with Uncle Mike.

Just love this shot and these colors!

Ruby and Lily walking home from the square <3

Game night with friends the night before we left!
Once we got home, we resumed our normal activities... Friday Night AWANA is one of them!

Neighborhood walks.

Birthday Parties (Mercy from church)!

Cary's Buddy, Ethan, from church

I finished painting the girls' playhouse that the Robinson's gave us.  Looks brand new and the girls love it!

We celebrated Simon's 4th Birthday...

Though we didn't get a picture of Daddy or the ice cream cake, we celebrated Mike's 37th birthday.

We spent a Monday morning at Pokai Bay...

Thanksgiving morning, MBC guys played their annual Turkey Bowl.

The girls cheered.

Then we took Mike to the airport to head to California for his birthday weekend getaway to watch ND smash Stanford.  I took the girls to Makaha for Thanksgiving at Aunty Judy's and then on Friday...

We went camping at Bellows with lots of friends.

Our tent and little site.

Crab hunting that night.

The girls loved it!

Giant Jenga!

Mini Golf!

All around, a great time!

Whew... what a month!!  That may have been our busiest yet! Oh so fun and blessed!  Can't even remember what we did in December, but that's why I take pictures, right?  Oh, and this was our Thanksgiving Tree this year...
Happy November 2019
